GROUP ACCOMMODATION VICTORIA
Rustic country accommodation for large groups in picturesque Lake Eildon
Set on over 300 acres of Australian bush, Fawlty Farm is the perfect place to book if you’re looking for nature based large group accommodation in Victoria. We have sleeping options for up to 25 people with the accommodation separated and spread out over a small area of our Taylor’s Bay property.
The focal point of the property is our ‘Big Top’. This is an open-sided but covered area of approximately 150sqm. There is an open fire pit in the centre surrounded by 3 tables, each seating 10 people.
Also under the Big Top we have an outdoor kitchen which includes 9 different cooking appliances including a Texas off set cooker/smoker, roasting spit and a beer barrel converted into a nifty rotisserie. Perfect for the cooking connoisseurs of the group.
We also have a private lake for catching yabbies and fish, and plenty of space for your cars, boats and caravans.
The use of 2 stand up boards, a paddle boat, 2 kayaks and a diving board is also included.

ACCOMMODATION
Adjacent to the main entertainment area is a building that houses the main kitchen, main living area, 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets, 3 showers and a bath. Behind here is a bedroom with a queen bed, two single beds and a wall plasma TV.
Connected to this building by a covered walkway is The Bunkhouse, which consists of 2 rooms with 3 bunks in each. Next to these buildings are the four separate A Frame Huts that have a double bed and two folding camp beds in each.
The Lakehouse is a separate 2 storey cottage on our private lake. It has a queen size bed and a slipper bath/shower upstairs. Downstairs is a kitchenette, toilet, double bed bunk and TV/Radio. Large double doors open out onto a deck built over the lake, with a 10 person dining setting and BBQ. Great for relaxing on in summer.
The private lake is stocked with fish and is safe for swimming but is not fenced.
The 300 acres is steeply undulating countryside with a mixture of open grassy paddocks and dense natural bushland. Perfect for that getaway where the only sounds you will hear will be yours or the local wildlife. The only guests will be your group and all of the property/buildings are for your exclusive use.
Although we love dogs, the property is not securely fenced and is abundant with wildlife, therefore we ask that you please do not bring your pets.
We offer hosted self-contained accommodation. This means your hosts John and Sally, are there to assist if needed and reside on the property, but in a seperate dwelling.
Guests must BYO sheets, towels, pillows and blankets/sleeping bags. Doonas and covers are supplied.
COMPLIMENTARY TOURS
Another unique feature of our property are the complimentary tours available to guests during their stay. Using an ex-army 14 seater 6 X 6 Pinzgauer, these tours are guided by your hosts John and Sally.
A popular tour is a visit to the Ridge Hut. This hut is situated on top of a hill and gives you magnificent views of the lake and town. We will take cheese, nibbles and sparkling wine with us for you to enjoying whilst admiring the beautiful scenery.
A tour of our 80 year old operational quartz reef gold mine is also available along with a trip to the beautiful Lake Eildon for a refreshing swim (weather permitting).
ENTERTAINMENT FEATURES
Along with an open fire pit, we also have the largest 12 person cedar hot tub in Australia, perfect for relaxing and socialising with family and friends.
Our air-conditioned games room includes a foosball table, billiard table, table tennis table, bar, table and chairs.
The outdoor kitchen includes a variety of appliances for the cooking enthusiasts including: a wood-fired, electric driven roasting spit that will take a lamb or a suckling pig, a gas smoker, charcoal cooker, gas fired yabbie pot, pizza oven and a beer barrel converted to a rotisserie that is ideal for a rolled roast or two large chooks.
